Six months ago, Mez announced the 2020 Supercars Championship set as a mod for the Mencs 2019 mod. I thought that was neat and wanted something from the past.
Much to my chagrin I discovered that There are no friendly mods for mid-1980s touring cars.
This set imagines a Nissan Mobil 500 (which would have taken place on the streets of Wellington) using cars from the end of the 1986 and beginning of the 1987 ATCC, the 1987 WTCC, the 1987 BTCC, and Bathurst 1987 (and one ring in from 198
Cars used are the Holden Commodore, BMW 635i, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, and Volvo 240T.
Schemes are somewhat period accurate.
