Hello everyone, 3KM here, and yes, I uploaded another paint scheme JUST YESTERDAY! And, truth to be told, I have a lot of paint schemes that are complete, and it not only takes me hours to make them, I could just upload all of them right now, but I don't wanna run out of content so quickly, I wanna keep them all stored, and upload them eventually.
Howeveeeeeeeer, this case was just different. I came up with this idea just yesterday, and yes, I did it in just one day, I kinda rushed with it tho becaue I was really excited about it, because personally, I believe this is one of the best ideas for paint schemes I've ever had, and I knew I had to upload it NOW,
Now, truth to be told, I have never watched Breaking Bad and/or Better Call Saul in my life, yeah, I know. Bceause, the truth is, I've never been into watching series, since they have many episodes and the most important ones, tend to be linear, so I was just not allowed to miss an episode, or else, I would miss the whole story because I definitely missed something important. Well, this was my mentality back then, before streaming appeared, now, my main problem is the lack of time. I know I'm not obliged to binge-watch the series I might be interested into, but still, just 2 or 3 episodes could consume some hours, hours that I currently need to spend on studying, and making a few paint schemes. I'm more of a movie guy, but nonetheless, if it comes to talking about a series, I watch non-linear ones, like South Park, which is my favorite one currently.
However, I do plan on watching both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad eventually, I know they're good, and well, I know one or two things about them, mostly because of the memes.
Now, I did watch Talladega Nights, and I loved it, it was dumb, funny, entertaining, and just a movie to watch and chill with, but I quite became a fan of it, I mean, how wouldn't I? It's about NASCAR.
So anyways, the thing is that, even tho I did not watch BrBa or BCS, the idea of making a Los Pollos Hermanos paint scheme, has been roaming for a while in my head, it was originally going to look like Jeff Gordon's 2008 classic Pepsi paint scheme, this due to having similar colors to the Pollos Hermanos brand. But then, I was trying to think of other ideas. I was also thinking of whether it should belong to an existing driver (like many of the ones I've made so far) with this fictional sponsors, of if I should invent the driver, and therefore, add a custom number. I was also thinking of what mod it should belong to. I was keeping the idea of making it a CoT car, since BrBa started in 2008, NASCAR Cup's first full year with the CoT.
And then, the idea came to mind. I noticed that since the events of BCS were taking place before 2008, because it's a prequel/spinoff to BrBa, it was definitive that I could use the cars of the NASCAR Nextel Cup era as well, and the Winston Cup as well. And well, most of Talladega Nights, also takes place in the 2000's (more specifically, 2005/2006), then I realized I could literally make a crossover of Talladega Nights and the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul universe (This one is more specifically to Saul, since, like I've just mentioned, BrBa takes place in 2008, and so on)
And so, it was on, this was definitely going to be crossover, and in just 1 day, I finished it. Although, I wanna make a better version for it, but nothing else comes to my mind besides what I've done here.
So, that was quite a lot of talk for today
, I just really needed to tell all of this, I genuinely feel this is one of the best ideas I've ever had for a paint scheme, and I knew that if I didn't make it now, I was never going to make it.
