Watching Denny Hamlin win yet another race Thursday brought two things to my mind: 1. “It would be nice if he had more paint schemes if he’s going to win every other week” and 2. “He would have more paint schemes if FedEx brought back their unit colors.” With that in mind, I downloaded the great FedEx base scheme from Murray SimRacing Designs and went to work.
I was originally going to just make his current white car with the only difference being the orange, but that eventually turned into making a set of cars using his 2006, 2015 and 2017 color formats as well. Then, I remembered FedEx was one of the major sponsors that made the Washington Football Team change their name, so I figured I would make a car for that. As that ended up with a total of 20 cars, I decided to split them up into packs so anyone that only likes 1 combo doesn’t have to download all 20 cars.
