Phakisa Freeway was constructed in the late 90s with the goal of attracting NASCAR and Indycar to South Africa. The track is an exact copy of the original configuration of Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a few changes, including a completely original infield road course that previously held MotoGP races. The oval layout went unused until 2010, when ASA held its first (and only) ASA Transcontinental Series race at the track, the Free State 500. The oval has not been used since.

This version is built on the default version of Vegas from Papyrus, but with major edits to make the track resemble Phakisa's appearance during the 2010 Free State 500. There are definitely some inaccuracies in places but it's as close as I can get with my current knowledge level of Sandbox. It also doesn't help that the only footage I can find of the oval is 480p at best lol.

The shipping containers are just recolored RVs, so for the time being they don't show up in test sessions, just race weekends. I'm hoping to swap them out in a potential future update if I come across something that I think will work.

This is so cool! I'm glad someone made this track for NR2003!
Never even heard of this track. Interesting. More international tracks are welcome.
Always great to have more international Oval representation in NR2003
