  • After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.

We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.

Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.

Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.

Stay tuned—we’ll share more updates soon!

Hey guys, figured I would lump all of 2003 into one post, but I was just wondering if there are any secret caches of Busch and Truck series paint schemes/cars floating around on the different sites we have? From what I have, 2003 seems to have been shockingly underrepresented in terms of painting for those two series, and I’m just wondering if I’m missing something somehow?

I’ve also compiled all the cup schemes I can find and there are only a few missing for those, so I can try and see what ones are missing and put it out there to see if anyone has them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as always!

I have the original carsets of Cup & GNS made by The Pitwagon ('03 @ 512) from back in the day.

For cts I'm up to 109 trucks, for gns I have 51 in the series folder and a zip from trg with 71 cars although I suspect some schemes exits in both.

Not sure about cup, I haven't combined the various zips I have into one without dupes

Random fact for busch series in 2003: The superspeedway races ran models from the previous year, i'll give you an example:

NASCAR allowed this for teams in Busch as a cost saving measure. So they didn't have to cut/chop up their SS cars to add the new nose & tails pieces.
IIRC even in Cup some backmarkers (primarily Carl Long and Kirk Shelmerdine) were supposedly still running 2002 cars as late as 2004, leading NASCAR to cut the spoilers down on them.

Correct the rule was for those running the 2002 Cup cars.... The spoilers had to be cut down..... Which led for Kirk's infamous qualifying crash for the 2004 Food City 500. While if I remember right. Carl Long rolled his intrepid at Rockingham.
