Isn't Bristol also a short track? Or am I missing something...On today's schedule the only true short track is Martinsville

Spire is the name being said. 23XI apparently are getting the #38 charter which, whether it was 23XI or someone else, was probably the fate of that charter the moment Anthony Alfredo was signed to drive itI reckon that it's probably been bought by either Spire or 23XI.
If the former, then it's the revolving #77 door. If the latter, it's for Kurt Busch.
Martinsville, Bristol and Richmond are all short tracks. What I was comparing them to was traditional local yocal short tracks like Riverhead, Stafford, Oswego, etc. These facilities are far too small to house even a truck series race, but they are rooted in NASCAR's beginnings, and most drivers that race in the top series have cut their teeth on tracks like these. My point was that maybe racing at the LA Coliseum will bring that classic true short track racing while still having the grandeur of a top series.Isn't Bristol also a short track? Don't quote me on this but I think GMS said they were going to run part time for a season to then step up in 2023.Net gain of 1 full-time car, assuming GMS runs the full season. But now we're talking about Front Row possibly contracting, and we don't know what RWR and Spire are doing next year either.
That's not a lot of cars... and most ex-cup cars in up in the ARCA series.2022 Xfinity teams are a mess at this point....

Oh my goodness...
1 - Martins Motorsports
1 - Big Machine
4 - JR Motorsports
2 - Kaulig
2 - Joe Gibbs
1 - McLeod?
1 - Iwuji?
12 cars?
That's not exactly enough to make plans for.
Also, what the heck happens to all of those ex-Cup cars that are being junked? In Australia, Super 1 cars become Super 2 and then Super 3. I don't see that cycle through in 'murica.
Yeah most ex cup cars end up in ARCA in some form. Some current ARCA chassis date back to the late 90's and early 2000's, that have been cut up and frankensteined together with new parts to keep them running. That's not a lot of cars... and most ex-cup cars in up in the ARCA series.
More cars are confirmed. RCR with Creed, RSS and Bassetts I think have all confirmed they're in. Plus we're only in October.Oh my goodness...

Haven't heard rumors about the 44 yet. If RPM does that, it'll probably be a pay driver.Rick Ware is looking to run only 2 full time cars next year. That's a good decision on his part with the new car and the start-up costs associated with it. It gives his team a chance (whether they capitalize on it or not) to be more focused and spend more time getting those 2 cars faster rather than just repairing extra damaged cars and stretching that Cup budget across 4 entries.
Rumors that Petty might be resurrecting the 44 are interesting but I don't personally feel like it's happening. I still think MBM leases a charter through RWR
Still not entirely sure what's going down at Front Row. Especially since they withdrew from the deal with 23XI. Had heard they were going to scale back to 1 car in Cup and run 1 or possibly 2 full time Xfinity cars with factory support from Ford but who the hell knows now?
I can see a number of the Cup chassis being converted to Xfinity and/or ARCA.
