  • After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.

We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.

Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.

Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.

Stay tuned—we’ll share more updates soon!

Couple of more Alternative schemes for Michael Waltrip and Jimmy Spencer. Mark Martin's Pfizer Ford is a bonus harkening to the diecasts and video games that had Mark don the Pfizer logo on his car rather than Viagra. Because erectile dysfunction pills.

4 Alternative schemes left
3 New drivers left

I've reached the homestretch with this project, and with that in mind, here are the final 3 schemes completed for the new drivers being added in the Definitive Edition.

Derrike Cope's #37 Sound Moves Ford from The Winston, which featured generic Sound Moves sponsorship rather than the various band logos that would be added on the as the season went on.

David Green's #54 National Guard Chevy from the Pop Secret 400. The forgotten National Guard Cup scheme as this was the year before we saw the 54 on a Ford Taurus,

And finally, Randy Renfrow's #59 unsponsored Dodge from the early portion of the 2002 season. Coming over at Rockingham, he qualified for one race, that being the Richmond Spring Race.

Whilst I was working on the 2002 cars, I created a folder planned for Volume 5 to my Misc series of schemes (IE, the unreleased schemes getting released) and with that project completed, it's time to get this project covered.

When I was doing some internal restructuring of what schemes I wanted to make for the Misc Collection, I moved New Zealand's SVG off from the #13 to the #16 and decided "Hey, let's make him have a WeatherTech scheme." Then Connor Zillisch's car was created and my mind went from 100% WeatherTech to 50% WeatherTech as we got a Mashup scheme. SVG's WeatherTech and Wendy's Ride or Fry schemes collide for the weirdest combo scheme this side of the Mississippi.

This scheme came from the fact that the previous Pyrrha Nikos scheme I did back in 2020 looked like absolute garbage compared to the other car, so I gave it a major uplift, integrating Kaulig Racing into the occasion.

Alright, so I want to use this render as a bit of a pre-Christmas update post for what projects I'll be working on for the next few months:

For the NCS22 mod, the F1 2024 carset is currently delayed for an indefinite amount of time because... I will be working on a carset based on 2000! Yes, the schemes of the New Millennium will be coming to NR2003 rather than the ones from this year. Numbers are 99% done and logo hunting has begun for the project.

For the MENCS19 mod: The Misc Vol 5 is close to being done, with 4 schemes left to be worked on. An Expansion Pack to the Winston '02 Definitive Edition project has been canceled.

And something I'd like to add is that a 2007 Cup project is being worked on for BeamNG Drive.

Cars are finally being created for the F1 2000 project, and we're starting with the team that finished last in the Team standings, Prost Grand Prix. Equipped with Ferrari vet Jean Alesi and rookie Nick Heidfeld, both men couldn't drag the unreliable Peugeot-powered Prost to the points, as the team finished 11th and last in the Constructors. Surely, 2001 couldn't be as bad as 2000 right?

Also, the carset will feature Censored/Video Game variants of teams that had either alcoholic or tobacco-based sponsors, also known as their British Grand Prix variants.
