"16 different manufacturers" Strange question here: there wouldn't happen to be a Renault in there, would there? The Monte Carlo template looks amazing, I am SO hyped to paint for this mod!

No Renault for launch but that doesn't mean there couldn't be one post-launch. Seeing as this is a fictional mod made for fictional templates, unlike other mods that just release 4 manufacturers that fit the usual Nascar mold, my website will host a section for all the manufacturer options. This list will grow as I slowly make more over time. Depending on how many the community make themselves if they are willing I'd like to have a community section as well where I can host the versions they've made (with the exception they are up to decent quality standards of course). I won't be able to make every manufacturer version everyone likes so that is why blank templates for everyone to use and make what they like will be available. For example I have no plans to make a Chevy Camaro or Impala but someone else could if that is something they'd rather use.

The large amount of manufacturers doesn't mean you'd have to use them all for your series, but if you wanted to use them all you could, or just pick and choose the ones you want. The whole mod is meant to look and be drastically different for all those who enjoy making fictional series.

I should be sleeping now but somehow I got myself reading this post. Amazing... I couldn't believe I did not see this post since Nov. I had been playing NR2003 since 2007. Many different mods. I am no expert with making something like this. I usually download bunch of templates/base schemes and then adding logos, numbers, etc myself. Some mods were difficult to make the brand new manufacturer because of the different body design and front/rear on template making it harder to put the head/rear lights. I am really really really looking forward for the release day. Fantastic work. I am pretty sure that there are plenty of lurkers out there (include me) appreciate your works very much!

COMPLETELY OFF THE POINT:
Mystical's profile picture is Emila Clarke as Qi'ra from Star Wars movie? (Star Wars fan myself, Ahsoka for life)

I'd love to see someone thoroughly document the process of creating a track in the same way, I've tried messing with sandbox a few times but the interface is a bit intimidating to a first timer. Even as someone really excited about the mod itself, I'm even happier about the way it's been documented to show people how they can make mods too

I can already see someone creating tire templates to easily switch between different brands. I'm kind of surprised no one thought of this before.
That was tried way back in Cup90 but couldn't get it to work in game. Also tried having the window nets paintable

This is looking fantastic. Some of the textures here are among the best I have ever seen in the game. The details are top notch.
You are doing an amazing job sir! Well done so far.

Anything with a mod can be painted but it must be part of the paintable template if you want it to update individually for each car. If its paintable it also means no alpha channel and the same specular settings as paintjob on the car. The tricky part is with more paintable pieces trying to fit it all on one template.

What was the reason behind the small gap, in the top-center of the spoiler? Not complaining or criticizing, was honestly just curious. Thnx. I will be using this for my "Next Gen" car for my offline league. :D
