I'm slowly getting back to painting after a long long hiatus, and I remember "back in the days" using what I believe was called "Metallic Gradient Base". (at least that's what I named the layer on that job).
I can't remember if the file was layered to allow to change colours or if the just came in for different versions for each shade.
I have kept most of the bases and graphic resources I have downloaded over the years, but can't find that one.
Do they still exist?

Here is a sample:

Never seen that before.
Let me look at my file information from that one Dodge paint job I had done.
Not sure if the original dates still show since I changed hard drive and copied files...
Well, file didn't keep dates information, but thankfully, the sponsor for that fictional car was the "132nd Kentucky Derby" so 2006 it was... LOL!
Meaning it was definitely created prior to that.
Odds are I got the file from Mas, that was pretty much my favourite community at the time.
And considering how much of a border I am with files, I'm shocked I can't find it.

I'm sure I can make something good enough from scratch layering gradients, but my PSP7 doesn't allow me to save my gradients anymore, and those were so well done.

EDIT: Unless it was part of the template itself, but I am 90% sure it was layers from a standalone file, not the template.
The mask credits say:
-Template is by "Zone15"
-Metallic Layer by "L4BUerASer"
