Missing 2001 Cars (Original Cup)

Thank you man! When I get off work, I’m gonna add these in and assess things! Current plan is to extract every single car file, and rename them for my personal set (Im gonna do it like this “2001-##-DAY1” for example) and make a car list for every single race. I’ll skim through the whole season on YouTube to see any paint schemes I’m missing, and I should have a full list of either ones I’m missing or haven’t been created by the end of tomorrow (hopefully )

@Riviera71 Okay actually from what I already had done, it didn't take too long at all, so for now, sitting at 280 cars, my final tally of the missing cars from my set are:

#17 Kenseth, DOV2, New Products/USA (Base scheme but just with a flag on the decklid I think??)
#17 Kenseth, ATL2, PBR (You're well aware haha)
#18 Labonte, ATL1, MBNA (Reg Scheme but with MBNA on the top (sort of like the Circuit City one))
#21 Sadler, DAY2 No Bull
#22 Burton, WIN, CAT Truck Engines (Reg scheme but with design on hood)
#22 Burton, BRI2, CAT Tracks (Bulldozer tracks on the side (good shot of it on Jayski))
#26 Spencer, DAR2, School Spirit (Reg scheme, but School Spirit on the quarters)
#27 Wallace, DAY1, Hills Bros
#27 Wallace, MAR1, Plain Blue Number (White early season scheme, but with the GEICO blue numbers and orange highlights)
#28 Rudd, BUD, Texaco (Bud Shootout scheme, there are shots of it but it's hard to explain, and I think the version on Nnracing is inaccurate)
#31 Gordon, CLT2, Power of Pride (Power of Pride on the quarter panels)
#48 Johnson, HOM, White Numbers
#62 Gaughan, LSV, Orleans (So idk if this is real or not, but in Brock Beard's recent video about the 2001 Las Vegas weekend, there's a shot of Gaughan's car as white with blue numbers, so I don't know what scheme actually ran)
#66 Bodine, CLT1, No Bull
#90 Stricklin, WIN 2nd Design (I think it debuted at The Winston, but I'm missing the second Hills Bros design that ran until they left. The yellow swoop goes in the opposite direction and there's more yellow overall)

Thank you man! I assumed some of my list was just ones that were out there somewhere but near impossible to find so I appreciate the help! The #26 is the '01 car and it looks much better than what I had before (just extracted the NR2002 version and imported it into 2003, but the nose gets messed up when you do that). Great work on the Mast #27 as well!

Man whoever designed Matt Kenseth's paint schemes back then is like, your mortal enemy at this point hahah.

Thank you as always!! Yeah, a lot of cars don't have photos online, the best way I've found is to comb through any footage from the race weekends that exist, a lot of the DNQ's are lost to time unfortunately though :/

Cabot and Apex are the regular bases with a different logo on the decklid (that you can't see while racing) so I'm not sure how much they're needed

36 cars so I'm missing a few but I'm not sure all of them ran a special scheme? From looking around a little the only special scheme I know I don't have is the #17 but maybe some of the others ran flags in places that I couldn't find an angle from.

All I'm going to say at the moment, is that those are way out of date.

My 2 #11 turned into 4 and there's a car from 2000 in there too (seems I forgot a "roll" on the hood when I first painted it). I also painted the roll tide #32 and the #91 from Richmond for the cup2000 mod if anyone's intested?
Based on nr2k3 weebly it seems they haven't been done so I figured I'd just transfer what I've already done.

3 more 2001 cars (#19 Mt Dew, #62 dnq and the #90 that Simo raced at sonoma) and a random car from 2000, the #95 that David Keith dnq'd in. The #62 is a bit of guess work, only had the pic from the youtube video and that only shows the front of the car. I thought I could make educated guesses from the other 2 schemes of the #62 I already had but once I was finished I started looking in to it and it looks like the #62 only attempted one race that year. Now I'm confused and have no idea where the other 2 schemes (one blue and one red) came from?

As for the car from 2000, when I get tired of looking for old logos I paint something else just to paint something lol. Once I run out of possible 2001 cars to paint I guess it'll be cars from 2000.
