Thank you to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. All gave some, some gave all. Remember them this Memorial Day.
Can we please have an Anti-Memorial Day?

As in a day where we say "boo" to the generals and politicians who in just about every war, think that the lives of people who serve their nations are cheap?
The coin of the battlefield is made from human blood. Far too often we've seen people who love war and have spent accordingly.

I am very much prepared to make the distinction between valor of people who served and the people who stayed home and signed what amounts to their execution warrants; backed by the state.

Restoring what was once lost went to a retro game store yesterday with friends and got back Nascar Thunder games. One of the bigger regrets selling my Thunder Games when I was younger but I didn't have money back then and to get new games had to sell stuff. Now money isn't a problem and I'm getting it all back. I didn't originally have these on the xbox but they look good on my shelf. Think I will get the PS2 variations if I want to play them on my PS2 where all my memory card saves are still. I can play them on the PS2 pc emulator as well. I never owned Thunder 2002 but all the rest I did.

I loved NASCAR '06 for the PS2.

It was the first NASCAR game released for the PS2 in the UK (PAL version).

A lot of fun being the leader and switching to team mates and drive them up through the field.

Yeah behind Thunder 2003 and 2004 I actualy liked 06 next the most. Its sad they didn't keep the car swithcing. It was definitnyl a new innovatitve way to race and manage a team in a race. If people didn't want to use it you could ignore it too.

I just wish they were moddable. Replace some of the fantasy drivers with more real ones and adjust the driver performances for a bit of extra realism.

Shame the PC ports of the Thunder games were entirely different animals, and basically inferior NR2003 with basic career functions. NASCAR Sim Racing was just a poor effort by EA all around.

Just gotta hope NASCAR '21 is decent at this point. I've been hankering for a good modern career mode.

How come nobody has thought of this before?

Why is there a difference between Cuppity Cup, Buschwacker, and Truck Series? Why aren't they derived from a common thing?

The middle reminds me of some sort of 80's european car(Opel maybe?) while the bottom looks like a knockoff AE86

Middle:
V-body? Opel Commodore C,/Vauxhall Viceroy/Holden Commodore?

Bottom:
I was thinking Opel Monza or Holden Torana hatchback.

Actually, the bottom reminds me of the Brazillian Chevy Opala SS

While the middle reminds me of an 80's/early 90's Opel Omega/Vauxhaul Carlton/Chevy Omega. In your land it would probably be the VN/VP Commodore if I'm correct?

Correct.
Omega A - becomes VN, VP, VR, VS and also VQ
Omega B - becomes VT, VX, VY, VZ and also V2 - which showed up in America as Pontiac GTO (and debuted in America a full 10 years after the Omega B)

Unpopular opinion:
Supercars should just abandon the whole Gen-3 project and just run Trans-Am 2.

Why bother to reinvent the wheel?

Why bother ? That's easy, They always want Bigger, Better and New... Which doesn't always work.
