June 12, 1988 "The Last One" at Riverside International Raceway, Rusty Wallace would claim the final NASCAR race at Riverside victory...

On this day I also officially moved my fan club card to the Rusty camp...

NOTE: I was sitting behind the kids in the red and white ball caps on the right there...just out of the frame...

Subject to a comment in Shoutbox, what is to stop someone from rebadging a car as something else?

If someone really wanted to run a Pontiac in 2020, could they pull the bow-ties off of a Camaro and rebadge it as a Grand Prix? Could someone pull the horsies off and call the car a Mercury Cyclone?

Could they debrand a car entirely and rebrand it?

Not even joking, I'd love to see something like the '57 Chevy schemes happen again in 2022

See if we can't start this thread again....

April 27, 1991 – David Green scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity (Busch) Series win in the Nestle 200 at the Lanier Speedway. Green led the final 111 laps and took the checkered flag ahead of Jeff Gordon by 1.6 seconds.
