Well I jumped through the hoops.. I got the files... But this ol' laptop aint having nothing to do with F1_2016 @ Monaco_2016.. I did run a 1:05 at Silverstone70 if that counts for anything? But yea, 10-12 frames is all I could muster at Monaco.. Hopefully by next weekend! The LCD gets here Wednesday and it's fingers crossed from there!!

Turn damage on [X] Don't knock your nose wing off [ ] Someone fill me in on the secret, before I go blast this mod/track on Reddit.. lol How the hell do you go through the corkscrew w/o knocking the nose off the car? Steering radius doesn't allow for it as far as I can tell.. Have adjust my wheel from 900* to 240*, makes no difference.. Steering lock on the car setup is greyed out (locked at 14.5* or something?) I don't get it.. Slow, fast, won't make the turn. Only thing I can think of is rolling in there with the clutch in and dump it at the radius and try a 180* burn out.. Which Im sure is what Vettle, Ricciardo and Co. were doing every lap yesterday.. Help!

I really only did 6 complete laps for this, not 12 because I knocked the wing off, I think it comes off to easily. I took the hair pin at like 20 mph. It's that tight in every version of the track in every sim I have. I watched the real race and I don't think it's as tight as the sim version is. I can also watch the movie Grand Prix to see how tight it looks in that since it's the first track they run in that movie.

Maybe we should tun the damage to 50% and have another go at it. I for one can't believe I'm 30 seconds off the real times, I was very timid doing this as to not knock that wing off.

They still ran under 1:20 laps, that's not slow at all.

I don't mind going slow, if that's what it takes.. But Im telling you, on "my game" you can't make the corkscrew w/o clipping the wall..

Can you guys get through there w/o hitting the outter wall? I'll run over the curbing, if that's what it takes.. But I've tried and still can't seem to make the turn.

Now that I turned everything off and reran the config.exe and set it on performance (Dx7) I can at least run a lap at 22 FPS.. So, now Im back to being interested and I can't find a way to turn a lap cleanly..

I made a video, just have to upload it, I lost it more coming into the tunnel then I did at the hair pin, I only knocked it off twice there, but charging to the tunnel I was taking that turn to fast and knocked it off 4 times.

As for your frame rate, use Dx8 and look in video car setting to see if it's set up for performance or quality, go for performance, if you have a AMD card and use the CCC, there's a slider that will take some of the cpu and use it for the video card.

And that's why you guys really didn't know how bad I had it with my old machine, I was getting 10 to 15 frames and some how figured out how to get it to 20 frames, it's all a combination of in sim setting and video card settings, you have to mess around for a quite a bit of time to get the formula right.

LoL.. I may be having a late life crisis, not sure...

Tigg keeps talking about "racing" though there.. Im just trying to accomplish it, not trying to do it during a race situation.. Literally ZERO miles per hour. Get as far right as possible, stop dead, cut wheel full lock left, inch forward.... Clip wall. Get that video uploaded already!!!
