Hey everyone, so I'm getting closer to finishing the 1996 Japan Exhibition carset, but need help on this one. I've found Carelli's #6 number plenty of times before, but this #61 variant is giving me quite a bit of hassle. Anyone know a good lead on where I can find this number?

Heya, Bud - I realize this is an old thread but just wondering if you ever had any luck. Coincidentally, I'm working on a 1997 carset and looking to include some of the Suzuka Thunder cars. Just from what I've come across - the picture of Rick driving in the rain is probably from the 97 event and other may be from 96. The decal spread is slightly different between the two.

I may just end up making the number set if I can't find a good approximation - that '6' at least look to be identical to the #6 Total Craftsman Truck Series Chevy Carelli drove.

If you haven't created this car already I'd be happy to share the number if I end up making it.

I ended up just jerry-rigging something together. Car is done but I've never released it.

Certainly. Could always go back and replace what number I had, because the one you posted here as a draft looks infinitely better

This number looks straight up HUGE on the side of the cars. I'm wondering if they created this number set based on the dimensions of the truck series' doors and then just squeezed it onto the cup series' door, heh.
