Realized after the fact that I SHOULD have used all the brand new version of the Dodge Dealer logos that I created the other week for this Popeye's project....... D'OH! Updated the .car file for the practice version for the moment and uploaded this logo sheet to the resources.

DUDE That turned out fantastic! I'm pretty excited to see the final product here. Will you be painting over the camo for the Dayglo orange? or decaling that part too?
I would wonder about using Automotive Vinyl for that? I have used it for a couple of models in the past to great effect. Heck, I even wrapped a 1/64 Nascar truck in vinyl. Not as cleanly as I would have preferred but it still looked pretty good.

I attempted day-glo vinyl on the Chrome Waltrip car you see in the back there but it was just too thick in the end and I pealed it off and used Tamiya Fluorescent spray paint instead.

I'll be using more decals for the stripes, numbers and sponsors on the camo car. Going to lay some clear over the camo first.

This is just proto v1.0 as well. V2.0 I'm going to send the printers a file that has the contrast turned up a little. The original file DOES have muted green, orange and browns but they all got pretty well washed out to grey here. They need to be a little more distinct to look right.

Yep. I've got a message out to his son about some pictures. But who knows if he will send em.
I know the hood appears blank. But never found a good side view.

Searching for the Winston West cars is an interesting problem.... the Nov '98 exhibition race was seemingly referred to as BOTH the Coca-Cola 500 AND Thunder Special Motegi 500. And the Winston West race there in 1999 seems to have ALSO been called the Coca-Cola 500? So, some of the Winston West pics I have are of cars/ schemes that ran in the points race in '99 but not at the '98 exhibition.
