And yet I think those are some of the coolest looking cars from that year. I think it's just because they are so different. Hornaday's was better looking than Nakaji's but still.
By the way, do you have the stuff you need for the Bruce Lee car? Or I can send you what I was working with on my version of it.

Won't lie - I find these two cars to be among the most hideous paint schemes I've ever replicated..... :coldsweat:

Not a fan of the yellow and red? Lol

I won't lie either... I actually think they're pretty cool, but the #08 was better-designed than the #09 in my opinion.

I get it - it just looks like a ketchup and mustard squirter erupted all over the body work. Plus, Big Daddy's head kinda freaks me out, lol.

I agree though - the red base on the 08 looks better than the yellow base 09. Now wait for the FLAMES on the #60!

They stand out, that's for sure. Not the least because we have the benefit of hindsight looking back at the absolute mess that the Big Daddy sponsorship deals were, hah!

My vote is for Dale Jr. or Ricky Craven having the slickest looking one-off rides from that race.

If you are offering I wouldn't mind taking a look at what you have for Burton's car. I made the numbers and Kanji characters already and was going to base the graphics on box art off of Ebay. You can knab those diecasts for dirt cheap!

Darrell Waltrip filling in for Dale Jarrett at Motegi - I get the feeling this was a last minute change as they didn't even bother replacing the driver names on the roof. They still clearly have Jarrett's sig in the race footage.

Imagine if DW went to a third Yates entry instead of the junk that was Travis Carter 66. His stint with DEI showed the ol' motormouth still had it.

Maybe we can play a little "what if?". Just skip over the wasted potential that was Kenny Irwin and have Yates running the 28, 38 and 88 with Rudd, Waltrip and Jarrett in '99 and 2000.
