So I've been working on a track for the last few months and have added multiple TSOs. (Stands, flagbox, a couple buildings) Just opened the track again today to work on it some more to be presented with 0 TSOs. No stands, no flagbox, no buildings, all gone. Added some vehicles, the flagbox and a flagger, saved, closed and reopened the track and... nothing but the flagger remained. Can anyone can explain why this suddenly happened and how I can stop it from happening every time I open a track?

They're probably still there, but if you have too many object files in your folder it will stop loading them eventually. Clean out your folder with only objects you're using and they should hopefully appear again.

Forewarning: Cleaning out your project folder may not be as easy as it sounds. It is very easy to remove a file and then not get your project to ever load again and not know why or what you're missing.

An inexplicable thing that happens to me sometimes: I have a kit of vintage objects that I use to edit tracks, so there are tracks that they load and works, and there are others that refuse to load the object saying that parts or something are missing. I never really understood what's going on. I would like to improve Lakeland and Langhorn with these objects that they refuse to load.

If a 3DO tells you that part of it is missing, right click on the 3do file and open it with notepad. Search for .mip and look for the file that may be missing.
