Making tracks isn't difficult or magical, and I wish more people had the patience to make tracks of their own from scratch. I also wish people would stop telling themselves they don't have what it takes to do that.

I probably make track making look more difficult than it really is because of my insistence on not reusing common track objects (the ones you find on the Papy tracks or the shared folder) and making really weird stuff.
if there was a step by step process that was in both video and written form I would try it out.

There are plenty. The U.S. Pits has a pretty good tutorial for a 1 mile oval and I think James Musslewhite does a bunch on youtube. I learned off the U.S. Pits tutorial, making some private edits of other people's tracks, and by making a ton of mistakes along the way.

Unpopular opinion for today.
If I already pay road taxes, and three taxes when I buy petrol, then I should by right have the ability to drive on all the roads.
Private motorways need to get in the sea and the licensed bandits who own the tolls need to be put in prison for extortion.

I got sucked onto a motorway and couldn't avoid the tolls. I had to arrange to pay it after the event because they're automatic toll booth camera thingamabobs. It is an outrage.

Here's some of mine:
Pop music doesn't exist anymore - songs nowadays are all just wannabe rap, rock, or alt songs.
Professional sports shouldn't have guaranteed contracts. Make the players play for what they earn.
Leeches in the Xfinity and Truck series are healthy for the sport, and helped keep the lower series alive during the recession years.
IndyCar is trending to reaching what NASCAR hit in the 90's and early 2000's

NokiaCupSeries: I'm with you all the way on #2 (about professional athlete contracts). Love the game of baseball but detest the business of baseball - humongous contracts being one of the primary reasons. I have long maintained that ALL pro athletes should be put on the same basic contract, at the same league minimum salary, then have incentives built into the contracts to appeal to each player's individual strengths. If a player has a great season, they get compensated accordingly. If he/she has a horrendous season, they get by on the league minimum. And none of this guaranteed contract nonsense...

I think the greatest example of this is Joe Flacco, who, in March of 2016, demanded a pay raise and signed a three-year extension worth $66.4 million (most of it guaranteed), which would run his contract through the 2021 season and made him the league's highest paid player at the time. Two years later, he has been one of the most mediocre quarterbacks in the NFL and is on the trading block after the success of Lamar Jackson. If that doesn't small like instant regret, I don't know what does...

It's easy to blame the players for things like the Joe Flacco scenario, but the truth is, the players are only accepting what the uber-wealthy owners are waving in front of them. If another employer offered a job to me, doing the same thing I do now, for twice or three times the money, I would certainly consider it. Not saying I would do it - lot of factors to consider - but I would be foolish to simply dismiss it out of hand. Pro athletes are the same. Part of the problem goes back to the owners flashing their cash...

Anything more than 5 speeds in your gearbox is too many.

Heck, give me a Holden Tri-Matic box with Nah, Uh, and Yeah gears.

Unpopular opinion for today:

Since Ford have taken away our V8 Falcon and the Mustang is so bloody terrible, they should give us a V8 Mondeo instead (and a ute please?)

Dear Chicago,

While your deep dish is very delicious, it is actually a very meaty cheezy quiche or possibly an open top pie; not a pizza. Please amend your terminology.

Love,
Rollo

PS: Please tell the people of Indiana that the name Gary is silly for the name of a town. That sounds like some guy who's coming around to fix your furnace next Thursday.

Toast one side of bread. Spread Cheese Whiz on untoasted side. Cover with plastic wrapped cheese. Put under grill.

It is delicious.
