2nd race was less eventful...and Tom Daven pretty much ran the house....

Race 4 MMP.JPG

Tom Howell gave him a race for a while and even led a lap before it was all Daven....Tom D. would win by almost a full 6 second margin
Dan Kaisinger got into to trouble and took himself out of the thing early, so it was a one car race most of the way. The ai were turned up a bit stronger for this one so they were able to burn away with any kind of spin pretty much taking any competitors out of the battle...

Congrats to Tom Daven on the back to back wins just as Tom Howell had done last week at Portland...

Well then...as I thought the Formula 1 qualifying and Formula E race coverage conflict with the SRF race, so looks like I probably won't be racing this week. :(

The F1 Qualy finishes right at 3pm (10am) and then FE race coverage begins right after.

I might be able to get on the server and watch FE later but don't hold your breath.

I should probably ask Bill on how the [Insert Japanese Manufacter Here] NAGT is going.

(Oh wait I just have!) But in the wrong thread, oops ;)

12 ai cars proved a challenge in the first race at Mid-Ohio, but that would prove just a hint of what was to come in race two.
Mid-Ohio's Esses and decreasing radius turns would also be in play as the race unwound as did some of the drivers...Johnny Vesterlund would have connection issues dropping him out after just two laps.

Mick Nesevitch led 5 laps on his way to the win, with series points leader Tom Howell also leading 5 laps on his way to a solid second. Dan Kaisinger looked on for most of the way getting him a very good third place.

Jeb Rown making his first appearance in the series would spend the first race working out his chops in the SRF cars but managed a 17th overall.

Bill Harrison continued his SRF woes garnering an 18th and minimal points.
