This is a basic DW12 2 car scene using 3dsMax 2013 and Mental Ray.
This should be compatible down to and including 3dsMax 2010.
Includes both road and oval versions.
Remember to Hide/Unhide the oval or road parts.
Also, it might be easier just to use the "Eye Dropper" in the Material Editor to click on the car to import your painted flat.
Please feel free to move stuff around, etc. to fit your preference.
