More than likely a mod team will come out with an '22 mod...

So why not want something else? Within the history of Nascar. A '73 mod and drive that Petty Dodge? An early 80's mod with true box bodies before the aerocoupes?

There aren't really any "mod teams" right now. Mystical challenged himself to make a mod, and was very successful, but has stated many times that he has no intention of pumping out realistic mods every other year. SRD mod makers are starting to burn out with it, and even their mods have always been Xfinity. Team Om3ga hasn't released a mod as a group in several years, and even though I know some of them have worked on them here and there recently, none of those are related to a current cup mod (that I know of), and even the ones they have started may not ever be released. Most of the other makers stopped a long time ago. That only leaves NFF, which has very successful indy mods but a single not as successful Xfinity mod. It's not impossible they would pump out 2022 mod, but it seems unlikely.

That means if there is one, someone else will have to step up and do it.

Actually, there IS one in development by a guy on facebook, who has released footage of the current NextGen test car in NR2003, with an accurate model to what's currently being tested on track.

we are going big with this, (and very unrealistic)
Mod: IMSA with all carbody styles, 6 gears and brake lights (so basically assetto corsa in NR

Track: Brainerd International Raceway (BIR)

Thing: softbody damage model (I know its impossible, but might as well put it out there)

Mod: a mod like ICR but for Trucks. I even have a list of what manufacturers I want as templates.
Track: Jefferson from NASCAR Heat 3/4/5
Thing: better track building program. One simple enough that a caveman can do it.
Jefferson is a good idea though I think it would be much more fun as a Paved track IMO. Heck I'd be happy with Welch Valley from D2D, another good fictional road course.

No.
Mod: An evolved 1955 mod with a front splitter and a big 1970s aero warriors wing on the back.
Track: Old old old Monaco. Bathurst before the kink was put in.

Most important:
Thing: Necessary skills to produce said mod.
I wish that there was an easy way to make a mod, or at least edit them.

2nd Thing: I wish that I could find more ways to thank creators of stuff.
