Steve Park made his Cup debut in 1997 pilotting this awesome paint scheme in a handful of races. Honest opinion - the 1996 and 1997 Burger King 'flame' schemes are two of the greatest of that era.

Awesome car! Would love to add this to my diecast collection one day! I got Nemechek's '96 scheme recently. Now I just need to find this bad boy!

Yes the black car was a Rusty Wallace car. It was a good piece Delma just didn't have a good motor. Sadly the Open was the last time we saw Delma in a cup race as he was basically asked to never come back.
He went over to ARCA for a few years afterwards. As a driver, then an owner. At times he apparently ran 2 cars in some races. I keep holding out hope that one of these teams one day will do a Delma Cowart throwback for Darlington.

Alright, I'm calling it - I am literally on my final 3 paint schemes planned for this set before tackling the crew sets. I'm planning on having this uploaded before the end of this month :kissingheart:

and if ANYONE has ANY decent photos of the #46 First Union / Monopoly from the UAW-GM Quality 500 @ Charlotte (other than the single image I see on Google) it would be appreciated. I'm rewatching the race broadcast and hoping for a decent shot of the rear but failing so far.
