A 3-wide photo finish headlined the end of the Cup Series race. A near total field inversion from Daytona to Atlanta headines the Pick'em results. The average of the field of 22 was nearly the same as last week's Daytona picks, ugly since pack racing tends to leave less than half the field running at the end, but only a scant few managed to come away with top 10's in both races. To further this feeling of a mirror image, remember how last year's Pick'em championship came down to a tiebreaker between db512 and CardinalCopia? db512 won Daytona. CardinalCopia has won Atlanta. Last year's championship tie has now swept both opening races of 2024. Unlike the Cup race, this victory comes with a healthy 26 point margin of victory over runner up Cola83. Highbank joins them on the podium just 2 points back of 2nd place. 2024 rookies Stueylouie and QBoi round out the top 5 as the top finishing rookies in Atlanta.
Congrats to
@CardinalCopia on the win!
Didn't have any first timers enter Atlanta so I'll just remind any lurkers out there that yes you can enter for the first time next weekend at Las Vegas. No you did not need to enter Daytona or Atlanta to be eligible for the playoffs, rookie of the year, or even the overal Pick'em championship. Taking the best 18 race scores out of 26 means anyone can miss up to 8 races and still be on an even plane with everyone else by the end of the regular season. So if you're thinking about it, give it a shot! The more competitors we have, the better this game is for everybody who participates.
Speaking of the rookie crop, QBoi has assumed the lead in the rookie points over fellow Atlanta top 5 finisher Stueylouey. Kevmire, the highest finishing rookie at Daytona slips back to 3rd but is only 22 points off the lead. BriscoeFan14 has some ground to make up but plenty of time with 34 races still remaining.
That will about do it from a wild weekend in the ATL. Here are the full results:

Thanks to everybody who entered Atlanta. Hope to see you all back and hopefully more next weekend as the spring desert swing brings the series to Las Vegas.
