I gained a reputation in 2009-2010 for designs and renders of Nascar 09 on the site BigAlGrafx and Midnight Racing Graphics, and after they shut down I joined a community called United Racing Designs where I spent most of my remaining time until they shut down in 2017. The title's a bit of a joke because at a certain point I kinda swapped from paint schemes to (of all things) Danny Phantom art (like this), even merging the 2 for some of my all time favorite schemes. Even my avatar is Johnny 13's Shadow, I took it as a bit of a brand just because it works well as one. I've been meaning to rehookup my old drawing tablet for ages just to get back into some of these things.
I'll be starting up a garage here soon because in reality I have some ideas for schemes over the years and would like to actually sit down and get some work done on those. However in addition to some new artwork, I'll also be dropping my archive. The initial one will be my Mediafire account's files, everything from logos, flats, renders, and bunch of other goodies. The 2nd drop will be a hard drive that archived my entire laptop that I had during the days when URD was a bustling community. That has so many files from long dead sites. During a move fairly long ago I stashed it in an ammo box and it's somewhere, so I'll dig it out at some point soon.
I intend on posting everything I have, including a whole host of flats from people that either disappeared over the years or were never worth backing up (Nascar 09 1024 sized schemes ftw), renders and models from sites now defunct, templates of anything I have left, etc.
I do have a minor request to the people who would know more about this, while mental ray became the standard does anyone know where I can find a trial to 3dsmax9 or at this point is that so far gone we just convert the older files to newer versions?
