While I dislike the teams that run them, I'd rather have Toyota in the sport than have there only be two makes. Especially if Dodge isn't going to return any time soon (which is looking like they won't.)I'd like to know your unpopular opinions on NASCAR, such that are far removed from the norm that many people agree on, that would accumulate a lot of hate otherwise. I'll start with my examples.
I like Toyota being in NASCAR.
The COT's looked good.
NASCAR heat evolution is a good game (NOT a great game, but a good game.)
The COT was something I hated at the time, but looking back on it, it was an interesting point in NASCAR's history. I don't mind them as much as I used to.
I haven't played Heat Evolution yet so I can't truly say anything
Sometimes teams make changes or stay put based on how much cash the manufacturers throw at them...Fiat didn't want to play that game...
I've often heard that Dodge was also burned because Gibbs expressed some interest to them about changing makes, and it all turned out to be a ruse to get Toyota to throw more money at them. After that, Dodge basically said screw it and pulled out altogether.
The only outrageous statement I can think of is that I honestly dislike Martin Truex, and I wish some of the 'poor-Truex' statements in the Media would just disappear. He isn't deprived, and he certainly isn't an underdog by any means.
