Yeah, those were always my favorites. There was just something about them that clicked with my childhood imagination. 2000 had Seattle with the day/night transition and the Salt Lake Roval, and 2001 had Hawaii and arguably the best version of the New York tracks, just to name a few. Great times...I've always loved the fantasy tracks in NASCAR 2000 & 2001 but hardly anyone talks about them. It's always about the tracks that came from the PS2 series.
I loved the Seattle and Salt Lake tracks as well, though Lakeshore had to be my favorite from 2000. Southern, Mile High, Hawaii, and Dust Bowl were all wonderful tracks in 2001 but hard to pick just one favorite from that bunch. lolYeah, those were always my favorites. Make it a touring short track/mixed series like the Trucks used to. The Truck series gained popularity due to trucks being incredibly relevant, beating and banging and showing the toughness expected out of trucks on the confines of tight circuits. It was considred a ridiculous idea at the time, and at a point where NASCAR is experimenting with everything and the kitchen sink, why not?Mod: Fictional SUV series. Explorer, Highlander, Traverse, etc. With as popular as crossovers SUVs are I'm surprised that's not a real series.
