Based on the Camaro Driven by Kevin Bartlett in the 1980 Hardie-Ferodo 1000. Bartlett won the pole for the race and ran well early on. The team had been forced to use drum brakes on the rear and as a result had to endure a lengthly pitstop to change them only 14 laps in. The driver from New South Wales along with co-driver Bob Forbes still managed to make a good day of it finishing 11th.
Before finding it's way to Australia, the car had competed in the IROC Series, so it fits in nicely with this mod.
