Track Name: Karl's Superstore Jonesboro
Location: Jonesboro, Arkansas
Track Type: Parking lot/Street course, asphalt, 8/10 mile
Fictional, but loosely based on the roads around a real Walmart location.

You may make edits to this track as you see fit without having to ask me first.

-----

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot. But now, paradise returns to the parking lot as up to 47 race cars smash the loud pedal and slam fenders around your local mom-and-pop big box mart, Karl's Superstore!

The retail dynasty from Arkansas known as the Hampton family have been passionate about stock car racing since the sport's beginnings, when great-granddad Karl Hampton led his fledgling "Mr. Hampton's" General Store by day, but by night, he promoted his business by tearing around the dirt tracks of Arkansas. To this day, the company remains heavily involved in American motorsports, complete with organizing this festival of speed before you, hosted by the flagship Karl's Superstore in Jonesboro.

The layout measures at 8/10 mile and some change, with a rectangular shape. The frontstretch and primary pit lane sits in the parking lot of the Karl's itself and runs down the driveway, featuring a bend before start/finish, in front of the store. The braking zone into turn 1 is interrupted by a brutal dip caused by crossing a side street into the opposite lot, in front of the M-Pire Rent-A-Car.

The backstretch and secondary pit lane are situated on Highland Drive. The run up to turn 3 is a 5 meter climb before the fastest corner of the track, after which you are greeted by a makeshift Laguna Seca Corkscrew that forms turns 4 and 5. If you make it, you will descend the driveway and swing around turn 6 back onto the frontstretch.

Known Issues:

-This track is not optimized for human consumption and presented as-is. I hardly do any driving in this game outside of the ARSS league, and mostly use it for my long-running AI stream series, so my priority for track builds is the show. You may need to do extensive work to the INI, setups, and AI to suit your preferences. That said, I did put in more work than I would normally do for other humans since this track would be hosting ARSS, so hopefully not much would have to be done after all.

-This initial release of the track does not have a DAT file. I've had issues with Track DATer and I don't feel like resolving it at this time. Sorry. There should be no or very few unnecessary files though.

-----

Fast Setups:

CTS setups have been provided by Vinny F. and Cynon from the ARSS league, the Cup setup is based on (I believe but I'm not certain) vanilla Martinsville, and the GNS setup is based on (again, I believe but I'm not certain) Smiffsden's Martinsville.

Thank you, though I have released tracks in the past. It's true that I build more tracks than I actually release though, it's probably something worth changing.
despite the known issues you stated, this is really cool and produces really fun racing and gives us another street course. well done
