I’m wondering what’s gonna be done about the 2024 Toyota. Neither the mustang or generic bodies work well for it. Is anybody planning a new mod? I don’t have the time make a mod, and was wondering what’s gonna be done about this sorta issue

@ZNC Designs I can't see past the pixels. Why are you taking a photo of your screen?

I'm sure 'Prt Scr' gets it done or any other screen capture software...

The Generic Body will work fine. That's what shading is for. We've done wrong bodies for years with different templates.

The 'kids' today can't have everything correct & perfect.

I was using a school computer, didn’t have a fast way to get those photos to my phone. I was taking a pic to show how the decals didn’t look right in the generic or ford body (the two most similar body’s to the 2024 Toyota)

It's still pretty early, even if someone works on a mod it would very likely not be released until just before next season at the earliest. The templates out now are just meant to be a hold over until something better comes along, and they are very preliminary. I don't mean to be a jerk but it is a little silly to be expecting a perfect template or model this soon after the car's reveal.

I understand. I knew it wasn’t gonna be anytime soon. I just was just asking

I get you. Realistically if someone is working on a new mod, it is either being kept lowkey for now (either because it is still early in development or the developer hasn't fully committed to it yet), or you will find out when everyone else does, because it will be a big announcement with a lot of hype.

The closest info I know about is supposedly the folks that created the NCS22 mod are working on an update, but the last I heard they hadn't committed to modelling the new Mustang or Toyota yet.

The template doesn't work because you're placing the decals too low (fog lights and lower grill also seem to be too narrow) while trying to fit them onto just one section of the template.

Sadly, i think any 2024 Toyota Camry templates are going to have to deal with having at least 2 sections of the Generic Body template (nose and hood or nose and fenders, or even all three of the sections) to look "correct"
