I would say the hoods were all sprayed without a mask or template, each photo is different. No wraps back then, lol.
Those weird Brits call them 'wings'

Mike McLaughlin actually attempted Watkins Glen in this exact car the year before (1996) but DNQ'd.
Ya know, I was kinda curious how Bodine ended up in a car fielded by Frank Cicci Racing when he drove the #36 in the Busch seriea that year. But him stepping into a car that was originally for McLaughlin at his 'home' track in NY makes a little bit if sense!

Actually, the #34 McLauglin and #36 Bodine Busch cars were teammates, despite running different manufactures.
