My new computer is officially up and running! NO MORE RUNNING EXCLUSIVELY ON A LAPTOP!!!!!

......although the graphics card currently in use is from my previous rig circa 2010..... damn crypto miners have run up the prices of GPUs beyond what I care to pay for them right now......

Anywho - wanted to celebrate by posting a gorgeous in game shot of one my favorites cars from my 1997 set. The colors on this are about as perfect as they can get!

@Slipster17 I'm gonna be a NASNERD about things...

RCR doesn't run a COMP Cams contingency, they just use a COMP.

The Comp is easy enough to change - I knew Earnhardt and Skinner never had 'cams' during the late 90s - didn't know that continued into the Harvick era!

As for the numbers - go look up the race footage. Interesring stuff! NASCAR put up a stink about 8 cars with essentially the same exact paint scheme on track that night. Sometime before the race began - they made JGR put orange overlays on the #20 numbers and RCR put Day-glo red overlays on the #29 numbers. They also gave each team a different colored roll of neon tape and said "Go Nuts". Andretti and Rudd had pink accents. Biffle had yellow. Stewart had orange. Harvick and Elliott had red. Busch had reflective white. And Burton had green. All so the spotters and NASCAR could differentiate the cars on track.

Also - there WERE supposed to be more C2 cars that night (probably all of the Coca-Cola Racing family drivers at the time) but some declined and other ALMOST made it happen. Michael Waltrip was apparently lined up for a C2 scheme as well but ending up just running the 'Flag' NAPA scheme.

Oddly enough he still wore a Coke C2 firesuit!
