Wood is for racing. Dirt is for farming and asphalt is for getting there.
In the early 20th century, racetracks were constructed using wooden boards, similar to indoor bicycle tracks. These tracks featured ridiculous banking, allowing the old motorcycles and roadsters to run flat out. By the time of the great depression, 'Motordromes' as they were called had lost popularity due to extreme danger and constant maintenance. Board Track Racing has fallen into obscurity as a forgotten piece of racing history, with very few references to it existing today in modern racing games.
Now, that all changes.
My first NR2003 track project, the Hardwood Motordrome, is a modern take on the historic board tracks from 100 years ago. The track is a retexture of Hillside from the Papyrus Track Pack with a new surface (still technically asphalt but I just took away some grip and added more tire wear) and new trackside decals and objects. I hope you all have as much fun with this track as I've had with it so far!
I also hid a pretty "NICE >:]" easter egg somewhere on the track, so keep an eye out for it!

All trackside objects came from Papyrus
This is my first ever track release for NR2003, so if there's any issues or things you think I can improve please let me know! I may come back to it eventually with an update if there's things I feel like improving.
