40-60% at best. Cant really say as this is my first time doing this, but if my checklist is right, should be around there.
Just let the person work on their mod in their own time okaythis is beautiful! glad someone stepped up to make this! how much percent of the mod would you say is completed?
was i talking to you?Just let the person work on their mod in their own time okay
Sorry for the struggles you and your family have to go through from Ian. Stay safe and stay well. Take care, wishing you the best!GOODBYE, SO SOON.
Short Version: Mod is cancelled, point simple. Hurricane Ian destroyed us, and I must focus on rebuilding life.
Alright, Long version here it comes; Hi. So, for those who may not know, I live in Fort Myers right near the Caloosahatchee River. For us, everyone and everything is down here, from my grandparents to our family racing shop. I don't want to go too far into detail, but we are a family of Fire and EMT. My dad is a fire captain on Pine Island, Grandpa literally built one of the first stations on Iona with his dad, grandma was the financial manager for Lee Memorial before she retired.... Long of the short, its been a really busy week. Why you may ask? Well my fellow rock-dweller, a Category 4 hurricane wiped out my home town. Family is firing on all cylinders, dads worked 200 hours these past 2 weeks with one being a 96h straight, I've been fixing stuff and cleaning. Luckily, as you can imagine by me being here, everyone in my family is safe, houses are structurally there, and we are very fortunate to be able to look forward rather than downward. That being said, we took on 4 feet of water. Walls need to be ripped out, all 4 of our race cars need to be completely tore down and rebuilt, over 4 generations of memorabilia and parts are molding and rusting and need attending too, all while I juggle a college degree in there too.
I'm proud of what I was able to accomplish, I really am, but there's bigger fish to fry for me. I only figure you guys deserve an update since you guys have been supportive of this project and yall are swell people. Ill be back to projects eventually, not now, not this year, maybe not next. This game somehow kind of became a creative outlet for me, so i don't think ill be going away, just going dark for a while. I still have the kinda-sorta knowhow and the older files survived the flood, so who knows...
Thank you for following the development of the SRX Mod
Until we meet again.
Thank youGlad you and your family are ok.
As for everyone else: don't be disappointed if you were looking forward to the mod, be glad you got to see something unique for a moment in time. I know I sound like a broken record but the tools and people with the knowledge to guide you to make a mod are out there. All you have to do is load up blender and start modeling to begin the process. Not saying its easy but at the same time no one else will make the mods you want except you. Waiting and hoping on others when it comes to modding is never a solution (at least not for me). Don't see this as a loss but an opportunity to take control if this mod being cancelled really bummed you out.
made it a quote. it was worded so well.Glad you and your family are ok.
