It is unfortunate that it seems like people have become too used to getting an end product without having to put work in. It really seems to make them blind to the amount of effort that gets put into things. And I'm not just talking about this community, I'm talking about everywhere. I see it in everyday life; at restaurants, stores, clinics, even in people's homes.
The point is, keep in mind that people work long and hard for free to make these things available, just for the fun of it. If they didn't want to do these things, they simply would not exist. This isn't comparing Battlefield to CoD because of whatever people who don't know how the industry works want to bitch and moan about things. It still isn't really good to do that, but the fact is that industry will exist so long as there is a demand for it.
These mods only exist because people enjoy doing them, and they won't enjoy it anymore if people who make no effort to contribute simply want to tear things down. And I'm not saying this just to you
@66Fan, I was surprised that I was underwhelmed by the cockpit model too. But my point, and the points being made here, is that this was a creative decision to attempt to make the cockpit more realistic, not because someone slacked off in creating it. So no one should be jumping to that conclusion, all it will do is push away the people that make this game keep going after all these years.
