I have 5 photos of Todd's car. None would show every contingency in a manner of identifying them 100%. So, the rocker has a bit of guessing/filler on it. Otherwise, everything is there and good to go.

If curious, the total car count is currently sitting at 66.

I'm curious, will you be doing later seasons as well? I don't want you to feel overworked or something by asking.

Good question! I hadn't really considered it. There are other cars I'd like to make from other years, for sure. Making a carset isn't a super difficult task to approach, but doing them like this carset can be a bit overwhelming. By which I mean, having a goal of getting literally every documented car from the season possible (including as many DNQ's as possible). For the hardest to discover cars, even with assistance here, I am still reviewing entire races, contacting former NASCAR related people (camera guys, crew members, designers, a few drivers when available, etc.) and deep diving and saving any and every image I can. And it's usually when you're researching one car when discovering a missing link in an entirely different car that felt like nothing would ever turn up.

I feel like further projects like this would be better with a small team of painters who are interested in accomplishing future high resolution car sets. I felt that way about the current one and still started it anyways. But, I am also an idiot.

Alright, Greg Sacks' Daytona car is finished. There will either be 1 or 2 more versions of Greg's car. Then, one version of Dave Marcis. Since Hut drove both the Chevy & Ford, I'm going to review the race for the Chevy and see if there's anything special or different about it. We already have a great shot of the Ford from the last race. This is all likely a Sunday project, and I am hopeful to have them all done by the end of the day tomorrow.

So... are you taking early applications?

I love the work and attention to detail in here. Accuracy with replicas can be really hit or miss sometimes and it's great to see someone pull out all the stops to make sure something looks absolutely perfect.

I honestly would love to see you tackle '93. Get a new update on that one because I have my own plans for a sort of What If series that starts around that season. :coldsweat:

Underrated paintscheme, running before Terry Labonte made Kellogg's famous in NASCAR

Figured I'd post an update on the 41. I have a lot of photos of this car. I have noticed in most non-Daytona 500 photos I have that something is written on the trunk. Unfortunately every single photo I have doesn't show what's there for proper confirmation. Oh well. Below is the Daytona car. Marcis' version is a wee bit different. I think it has the trunk sponsor. Whatever it might be. I haven't looked at either of Hut's last 2 race versions yet too closely yet. I know I'm not looking forward to running all these lines across the T-bird version's nose. It's a pain in the ass. T-Bird's nose really likes to bend lines all wonky.

This is a diecast model of Dave Marcis 41 car. Apparently, there's written "Tarheel Auction Realty" in red. In black there's written "Statesville Auto Auction"

Those seem to be the other way around:

Absolutely how I feel. I've been at the 94 revamped set off and on for a while and I just have ran out of time to really sit down and paint. And some cars like the 12 from that year have 10-15+ variants. It becomes very draining on the mind. I haven't really painted in months and I miss it but I also have enjoyed the break. 94 was a massive year with so many teams and drivers. Maybe we should all join in together at some point to do a set for a year. I think it would be fun

I'd love to help out with any Cup90 Projects if you'd ever take any! I'll be brave enough to admit that I know that Mod and its Templates like the Back of my Hand.

I know how you feel when it comes to my 9/11 set, and it's only focusing on a single race (sans the #40 car, due to them wanting to run the Kansas scheme @ Dover, but not having the time to get it ready due to sponsors). Only have small windows when I have the time/motivation to be able to work on it most of the time.

I made a discord server here: https://discord.gg/WAYv7tMC

For those of you in here who may want to collaborate, share info, etc. I can start by making us a painter's channel. Just a place outside the showroom where we can help each other out. Be it on the same project or even on our individual ones. For now I'll make a channel on there labeled as '#stunod-painters'.

That link up there will expire in 7 days so, if anyone needs it after that (having not seen this post in time), message me. For the record, the discord acts as an extension to my NR2003 support site, as well. So there'll be a bunch of other stuff there, too, as time passes. My movement on the site is a bit slowed down cause of... well... the contents of this showroom. lol

The painters channel on there is up, listed as 'stunod-painters'. Obviously this showroom and discussion will continue, but any discord users who also want to converse there, I made the channel for us all. :)

3 variants for Greg Sacks. 1 for Dave Marcis. 2 for Hut Stricklin. I'm currently on the 3rd variant for Sacks, but I'm feeling like crap so I gotta stop. Anyways, progress is happening. Photo below is variant #2 for Greg. 3rd will match the car that @Lastlap posted the photo of. I'm kinda excited to get to the 42 & 43 cars, too.
