Man I sure wish I had those cars now, I would promptly sell em for enough money to buy two more rare AMC cars, fix them up and fix my Hornet up like none before, pay my mom's house off, buy the Electric guitar I REALLY want, and have enough money left for awhile still LOL My I6 in my Hornet would have titanium Rods, Hypereutectic pistons, have the variable valve timing idea of mine I have had since I was young fabricated(for old cars with a Timing Chain), put the trans in I really wanted, the Chrysler A-518 4-spd auto(basically a factory reworked 727 design adding an overdrive. I could then go lower gearing without it seeming like I am starting in 2nd gear compared to little cars that hit 3rd by the time I am starting to get out of second gear LOL.
There would definitely be no other like it, Kinda so already with diff stuff I have done.
If it were renewed and things gotten to a newish state on things that wear out instead of some being 50 years old, this car would run circles around most newer cars for another decade after they died without needing some newfangled expensive part that does not even exist on my car LOL.
Little cars go by the house and down the street, engines at higher RPM, hearing shifting just from the corner two houses away as they go by, while my car when
punched will hold 1st all the way down the street accelerating. LOL. Very torquey I6 that actually winds out and has Horsepower too!
Could get the bodywork I cannot afford done so I can paint it before it rusts away.
Man if I only had things go just a bit better all these years... I do not need a friggen Lambo.... Happy with my Hornet especially if it were more like done and not more than half done only.
Yeah, dream dream dream....
anyway, Happy Holidays!!!
