So, going forward after the initial release of Dustbowl, I'm wondering what track to do next.

I could tackle another track from Nascar 2001, or go older to Nascar 2000. I'll just have to do races on all of them and see which ones I like driving on the most.
I'm interested in making at least one more track from Ridge Racer Type 4, Phantomile, but same as the Nascar tracks, I will have to drive on them again to refresh my memory.
I also still have tracks in my list from page one to make, but I think the stuff I just mentioned might be more interesting to me. I've done 11 tracks from the Gran Turismo series now and would like to branch out a little considering I've already done the big road courses and still have to make updates for said tracks that haven't been touched since October and the more I race on them in their current state, the more things I want to change.
Making updates for the older tracks definitely should (and will) take priority. The update for Red Rock has been made, so that leaves Grand Valley, Mid-field, and Trial Mountain to go. Maybe I could do one big update, then one new track to keep things fresh.

As always, thank you for your support, and stay tuned.

You're doing some great work here, I really do like it. I know for sure that there are some GT cars that would look good in NR.

So I'm working on an update today for Trial Mountain and I wanted to make my own TV1 for the first time, and just like I thought, it's super confusing. I have made a guide of camera placements and how much coverage each one will provide. The thing I am getting stuck on most is TAKEOVER DISTANCE. Can someone please explain to me how to set this? It's the only thing stopping me from finishing this.

Never mind, I found it out on my own eventually... but I have made a working TV1 for the track and the update is ready now. Note to self: the exact definition of "takeover distance" is the distance, in meters, before or after the next camera takes over from the previous one.

In other news, this will probably be the next track I make.

Memories flood back to me of NASCAR 2000 and the excitement of winning the Championship in Salt Lake, then when I run into the other room in excitement, telling my mother that I qon the championship, only to be told, "Thats nice."

I drove 20 laps or so around Speedway Boulevard and it looks like it may be out of my league with how many objects are on that track...
But I think Lakeshore Raceway is completely within the realm of possibility for me like Salt Lake was... so I think I'll make that one next. Hey! Someone teach me how to make a pitch black night sky or where to find one! Lakeshore needs it, and a couple of my other tracks need a pitch black sky too.

Actually, I think I want to do something completely different before Lakeshore... something nice and easy...

Like the Beginner Course from Gran Turismo 4! It's 0.48 of a mile long, is egg-shaped, and has a simple chicane! I'll just have to modify it a little to fit as many cars onto its pitstop as I can.

February 15th update: Making Beginner Course kinda made me want to make Motorland as well, but it's another low speed circuit... regardless, Lakeshore is *actually* next in line now.

FB_IMG_1613410209154.jpgTook me long enough, but this was the carset I had made for my DD2 set. There are all the things that I did, few customs and such.

You could have made them like the cover art as well, with the numbers on the hood, roof, and sides.

As an afterthought for me though, I should have made mine like how they look in the game's opening movie, with Texaco/Havoline, Champion, and Goodyear logos on them... but then they wouldn't have looked like how they look in the game.
