Is there also a Rick Bogart #70 Phoenix DNQ, #75 Stuart Kirby, and Jeff Fultz #54 Coca Cola 600 DNQ? (i couldnt find an image of the fultz car on the internet and only found it on the qualifying video, so i would assume its not been made)

Not my work, I think it was Spidertre but not 100% sure.

Does anyone have the #89 that Morgan Shepherd dnq'd at Newhamp2? Haven't found a pic of it that I'm sure it's 2001. I found a decal sheet at ebay that said it was from 2001 but they also had a jayski pic of the real car and at jayski it's under 2002 so that's not it. Maybe it's one of these?

Not sure if this car was ever made but I’d figure I would ask. Looking for Dale Earnhardt Jr’s 2001 Daytona 500 car. Only difference from the standard Budweiser cars is that this car had the Bud logo on the deck lid. Any help is appreciated.

Seeing how New Hamp 2 was a rescheduled race I thought that the lineup/entry list was based off the initial September race. That's why only 42 cars ran because one of the teams shut down. Racing reference shows the 13 and 89 DNQ'd but I don't believe they ever showed up to the track. Kind of like the 2020 races where some Xfinity teams "attempted" races even though they didn't have enough owner points to make the pre-determined field.

I've looked and I don't have it either so that's 2 Daytona cars (#5 being the other) that might be missing.

@Reno62793 That could be it. I went through racing ref looking for cars that never qualified (and wasn't already painted) but the #89 (NH and then it lists him as WD for Charlotte I think) and the #60 of Joe Bessey (WD from 1 race) were the only ones I found.

@Lastlap I checked nnr and Spidertre lists logos from google and himself so not much help there. Is he still around?

Jayski's old provisional page from 2001 also showed that the 89 never attempted NH2 due to the lineup already being set so we can probably close the book on that car. I'm sure he had one ready to race and I'm guessing it would be the same as his 2002 car.

Cool, that's one less to consider. :) Looks like the #60 is pretty much the same, Rockingham fell through and H. Sadler was going to buy the equipment.

I'm gonna throw this in here, mainly due to @Riviera71's post asking about a sponsor on the #32, hinting to me they're working on some #32 cars.

There should at least be 4 different versions of the #32 base, sponsor wise, when it comes to the rear end (sponsors on either side of the big TIDE logo). Not sure if there are more, but there could be before McDonald's almost fully took over the location after the closing of the #96. There could be more, but I haven't really looked that hard into it yet. These are the ones that I've seen photos of:

Talladega 500 & Pepsi 400 (Winn-Dixie, single centered Winn-Dixie logo)
Brickyard 400 (Kroger)
Pennzoil 400 (Homestead) (double Winn-Dixie logos stacked on top of each other, same exact logo however as the single one)

As I said, there could be others since not a lot of photos of the rear end of the car are out there. So, taking a look at old videos of races might be in order to double check.

Yeah, I've found those and this one :)
The front of the rear spoiler is another issue, some times white but other times it was black. Might have to make a list with rear sponsors and color of spoiler for each race lol

Don't forget about taillights too! The #32 Dover2 car had a super weird configuration with the taillights. The 'left' one was the 'short' version, while the 'right' one was the 'full' version! ;)

lol, even worse is that I have found zero images of the #32 from Dover 2. I've spent the day so far going through all the sites I know of (ciastock, motorsport.com, motorsportimages.com and getty) and the result wasn't great :p
Apparently it also happened that there were no decals around the big Tide as in the chicagorace. Oh joy...

The white rear spoiler seems to have been a superspeedway thing only though.

Dover2 was McDonald's on the rear.

Super old picture I took with an old camera from my video tape of the race.

Thanks :) One question though, is this a car you'll be painting for the set?
Bit hard to tell but it looks like he didn't have the smaller logos in the Daytona 500 either. I also suddenly noticed that the car didn't have the Super 8 Motel logo until race 16. Wasn't there in race 14 and I couldn't find any pic from race 15 so it might have been there for that.

Yep. Doing all the cars from that race, as all had some small USA related item on the car.

Just like his teammate in the #96, they put the "I Love NY" decal up above the rear window beside the driver signature on both sides. And had USA flags at the bottom of the B-Pillars.

This was due to the planned closing of the #96. They moved the Super 8 sponsorship over to the #32.

Also, here's another TV panel sponsor:

From Jayski's old site:
#32 to look different at Texas: The familiar orange #32 Tide Ford has undergone a minor facelift for the Cup race at Texas, courtesy of regional grocery chain Albertsons. Albertsons has joined the Tide team as a race sponsor for the popular Texas Winston Cup event, adding their blue and white logo to the rear "TV panel" of the Tide Ford for race weekend(PPI Motorsports Site), no images seen yet(3-29-2001)

You probably already do... Google images (first) but also Flickr & ebay (sometimes there are fan photos).

Worthpoint has helped me find older contingency decals also.
