Here is some Incongruous and Disconnected Thoughts - I'm sitting here with my wife, we can't find anything on TV, my wife is flipping from Christmas Cookie bake challenge and a Hallmark Christmas Movie... I'm thinking about what is tomorrow going to bring, why can't the world just get along, will this Covid thing ever go away. It's raining outside now and we need it. I just read an article where Brad K. talks about the Next Gen Car, he mainly said the car is slow and one mistake could ruin your whole race. I'm also thinking about another piece of Pie(Pumpkin) and some decaf Coffee. I'm also hoping for clear weather Tuesday, need to see my son in Florida(day Trip).

Ok, I had a lot more I was thinking about, but my thoughts are always way ahead of what I can remember(or type)... Might be an old age issue. Anyway

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and an even better 2022 - Happy New Year. :)

RFK's logo... kept thinking I've seen this before somewhere. While it's not the same, feels similar:

I'd say Watkins Glen is the sole reason why road courses in NASCAR have been a bigger thing recently than they were. 2012 Keselowski vs Ambrose vs Busch. 2013 Keselowski vs Busch, 2014 Allmendinger vs Ambrose, 2016 "Aggresive Goes Around" Truex vs Keselowski, 2018 Truex and Elliott fuel mileage finish. Basically every/every other year there was some kind of close/intense finish.

Also note how frequently Keselowski's name comes up in these finishes. I would have never pinned him as much of a road racer but he was right there in 3 of these finishes.

I guess it goes to show just how well suited the Glen is for big, heavy, unweildy stock cars.

Ford Falcon Wheelbase 2838mm
Ford Fusion (NASCAR) Wheelbase 2794mm
Ambrose had been twice ATCC champion in a car just 44mm longer in the wheelbase.

That says to me that Ambrose had more immediate experience on road courses and that the car wasn't as bad as originally thought. If anything a wider Cup car should be more stable than a Supercar.

I know that I am cussing a lot but the cussing cusses who cussing cussed me to cuss like a cusser have made me cussing mad like a cuss.

The true and proper champion of 2021 is Bottas.

OK so in my world there's this:

The "Chili Size was invented a mere 55 or so miles from where I render these thoughts on my keyboard, and yet, is there a decent Chili Size here in my beloved Riverside? Not so far as I have found, tho my search is just begun...I may have mentioned that it was invented in Los Angelos just 50 or so miles from my abode...

This wonderful food concoction found its way all the way along the famed Route 66 in dinners, many of which I had the pleasure of dining in, in my many trips across this greatest nation on God's Green Earth, from Illinois to New Mexico all the way to the Pacific shore I have chowed down on these delightful belly bombs in my youth and even into my adulthood and yet, they are missing from many of the same "joints" menus today.

I invite you to do your own interweb investigation of the nature of this culinary wonder...

I am undone...

No.
A church house, gin house
A school house, outhouse
On Highway Number Nineteen
The people keep the city clean
They call it Nutbush
Oh, Nutbush
Call it Nutbush city limits

Um...

Nutbish is a rural unincorporated community in Haywood County, Tennessee, United States. Unincorporated territories mean that it's a locality and therefore it isn't governed by its own local municipal corporation.

They might call it "Nutbush city limits" but it ain't no city and it can't officially have any limits because it is unincorporated.

Is this like calling Brisbane "Bris Vegas" or are the people there just all eejits?
