Heya Mitch, it says Ooops! there's a problem when I click the 911 link. Don't have permission.
Technically, it was the properties in kseditor on the INT_GLASS (Internal glass, which is a 2nd layer of glass that's needed, so you can see the rain from SOL/CSP) I had transparency set to "off" because I mapped the rear side windows so I could put decals on them, and with transparency "on" if you looked through the side glass, the decals from the OTHER side window would take priority and look like they were over top of the side you were looking at. Kinda hard to understand w/o seeing it, but anyway, I just separated the rear sides int_glass panels and made those non transparent, so the decals would look correct and made all the other int_glass transparent. If you run in VR, while it's raining and turn your head all the way around, you may not be able to see rain drops on the rear side panes of glass, but I can live with it.. (Note: I still don't know why it worked on mine and others pc's but not on some? Probably something in CSP settings, but there's so many options and settings in there it'd take a month to figure it out)Trip, maybe depending on resolution or reflection settings/handling? Thanks for the info and fix. That was a good find!
Peace!
Well, is that all....I mean something so simple....duh? I need a drink.Technically, it was the properties in kseditor on the INT_GLASS (Internal glass, which is a 2nd layer of glass that's needed, so you can see the rain from SOL/CSP) I had transparency set to "off" because I mapped the rear side windows so I could put decals on them, and with transparency "on" if you looked trough the side glass, the decals from the OTHER side window would take priority and look like they were over top of the side you were looking at. I would have expected no less from you, Mick, and I'm more that happy that guys like you share your knowledge and ability with the rest of us! As I've said before....I can setup a dual point distributor on a Big Block Chevy....change jets in a Holley 750....etc, etc. But this stuff that you guys do.....just tell me how to turn it on!Hey, he seemed genuinely interested so I obliged..
