This has always been a discussion I've had for as long as the JJ Spotter really took off in early 2004. I always assumed it was the primary spotter that most people use when they cake their copies of Nr2003 with mods, but now I'm genuinely curious.

Which spotter packs do you guys use?
For me, I switch between JJ (w/ spotter swapper) and the OG Jon. St John spotter, since I am an absolute sucker for Papyrus nostalgia.

To me, it also depends on the mod I have. For most of the NASCAR years from the 80's and later, I use the JJ spotter. For anything earlier than the 80's like GN70, GN64, and GN55, I'll use the original default to get that southern twang that was more predominate then. For GTP, IMSA, AD67, Indy, F1, etc. I use the GTP spotter to give it that more refined foreign accent.

I use the JJ Spotter pack as well, but I have long gotten bored of it. Kind of looking around for something fresh and new to use. Don't get me wrong, the JJ Spotter pack is the best and most complete spotter pack made by far. I also like the original spotter pack for that "Southern twang" feel of it and use it for my "Winston" and earlier years races.

Since I got a new computer I haven't updated the spotter pack, but my first one was the Days of Thunder pack that had snippets from the movie. For example, if you got a flat tire, the sound that would play was Robert Duvall's line "40 other vultures out there that managed to finish the race on their tires. You see Darrell Waltrip using up his tires!?" That pack was mainly used in the N4/N2002 days.

Later I used the Junebug back, and then the JJ pack.

I use the stock one, But I recognize the excellent work of the other versions.

But honestly, I liked more the spotter from NR2 and NL. It would be a dream to have them adapted for NR2003.
