Ok, whats the trick to painting in assetto corsa?? I open the skinbase.dds, edit it, save it.. Nothing changes.. Do the same to the skinbase.jpg.. Open content manager to have a look.. Nadda.. Same car. `35`

EDIT: Scratch that.. Figured it out. I was just looking at the preview.jpg. :nerd:

We both know how different of a track this is. If I hear back with a positive note from Sergio, I will nominate our Trans Am team as a beta tester for improvements for future. And we can create a Can Am series for testing too.
YA BABY!!!!

Well hell, if he's willing to do that, maybe we could take up a collection and get Daytona, Sebring and Laguna done. I've decided to set $20 a month for gaming stuff I'll give it to him to help get some more period tracks done. And I do have the good versions of "70 Daytona and "70 Sebring for both rFactor and GTL.

So, anyone who's curious.. Don't bother painting an all black car for this.. Looks decent in Showroom. Not so much in the game. (He says after 4 hours of screwing with it) x'D Got a nice layered 70 Camaro template out of it anyway..

Will post link tomorrow, holding out hope some modder sees my request and comes up with a solution (.kn5 file) for me..

Painted a 1968 TA @ Riverside car and had to take it on the tack for a photo session, turned into a 6 lap race with 8 cars, and it was exhilarating...these guys weren't pulling no punches and it was a hip-check-fest!

The new car...#13 Bob Barker Mustang, ran in '67 as the #31 (still running with that number today) I need to figure out how to rate these drivers to make it historically accurate, but man were they fun....

I'm sure Mark Donohue is still in the garage talkin' trash because of the hip check I gave him here, Craig Fisher looking on surely backed up his story, "I was racing him clean and then POW he goes all Gordie Howe on me!"

Ya bite me Mark...what can I say they always get loose coming off 7a
