Just ran some laps on the server with Mike. I've got a lot of practicing to do! Thanks again for showing me around and sharing setups @phantom17 Still having brake issues with the Camaro wanting to lock 'em up at about half pedal. I'm gonna try changing the data file and see if that helps.

Ok boyz, got an update.. No rush on this, as you won't be able to get on the server until Bossman updates it. This hopefully will bring the Celica and Audi into play with the Camaro and Vette. (Celica had a different HP .lut included in the mod and the Audi burned fuel so fast it needed to be nearly full to make it race (pitstop) distance, which slowes it down significantly. Me and Andy did some testing and both cars should now run in the same second bracket as the Camaro and Vette.

Just drag onto CM and "update over existing"
IMSA ZOOM UPDATE
I used 160 litres to get the end of the race at Daytona. Started with 120 litres (full tank) and added 40 during the pit stop and yes, that extra weight (~190# at 120 litres) did show in lap times. I'll get the update after I go throught the install steps to make sure I got it right.
Thanks again for all the help Mick! :)

was getting the celica faster than mike (2:03.5), I think the car will be about 1.5-2 seconds faster with no gas, medium tires add about 2-2.5 seconds which is good, going to test the hards as well
Edit
Hards dont feel much different than mediums, but they do lose a bit of ground sitting at about a 2:06 full fuel on hards and a 2:05 on meds in quick testing (times are subject to change

Fun race fellas! Congrats Trae!! Missed ya Bill, hope you're feeling better! Also hope Tom is ok and make it out w/o any new Nicole damage! Were hangin in'.. So far so good, just yard debris..

@ZiggyM Try CSP 0.1.73 (Should be the newest one that has "recommended" listed under it. That should have the apps like in my video. If it doesn't I suspect you may have installed CSP and SOL incorrectly? It's a -precise- process. (You can't just copy the MODS folder into the root of AC, or do it automatically with CM) It has to be -manually installed- and you have to click the MODS folder, then SOL2.2 folder, then drag all that stuff ( apps/content/extension/system/ ect. into the ROOT of AC) Follow the install guide to make sure you have all the proper settings setup. Once you have all that stuff installed right, we'll start tweaking for your frame rate.

Another quick vid that may help.

I'll take you up on driving that Challenger, after I get this thing working properly! :)
In my quest for higher FPS, I'd turned off everything, including the "Shaders Patch" under "General Patch Settings", which is why I wasn't getting the 'all apps' at the top. Once I turned that one, I followed along to your previous video, and this one.
I'll be playing with settings over the weekend to get the FPS up. I just hit the 'reset' button on every setting I could to get a baseline of the 'stock' settings and will go from there, leaving the "Shaders Patch" active this time.

I did notice, at Datyona, that when I turned shadow to "on", the track got lighter (which is weird, but computers are dumb like that, right?).

Thanks for the tour to figure out if the headlights work (or just throw light) and all the other goodies.

Thank you again for taking the time to help me out. Much appreciated. I tried to get on the server and got a 'checksum failed' error so I'll guess the new cars from the "IMSA ZOOM UPDATE" are not on the server yet so I'll play offline for a bit and see what I can do. I have the day off tomorrow/today (Happy Veterans Day) so should be able to get a few laps in and figure out where the FPS are being lost and gained. Invaluable help. Again, much appreciated. :-D

I found that using the CSP 1.73 Recommended one made it seem like night or dusk at Daytona when there. May be different on different tracks and on your PC and others PC setups. I have been using a few higher ver. than that.

What you have for a PC Zig?

Yeah and a Thanks to Mick for his work.

Hope all are doing well! @Highbank Bill hope things are well with you. :)

Peace!

@ZiggyM No problem bud! I get nearly as much enjoyment helping out and modding as I do racing these things! I can add headlights to the Audi for you if you think it'll help? (It won't effect checksum/getting on the server) Just an edit in the lights.ini is all it takes. I suspect that's what they did on the Vette, but the headlight area on the actual body is probably using the wrong shader/transparency/etc.. to light up. (which is why they only "throw" light in CMShowroom) CSP can cover for a lot of that stuff, but it doesn't work in "CMShowroom", so if the shaders and things are off, you'll only notice them when you're online. (I noticed from the replay Trae or John had theirs on and it actually appeared the headlights on the car where lit as well. Was probably CSP doing it. And as @Blitzman said, if the track looks weird, try a newer or older CSP version, even if it says "buggy".. You can switch between CSP versions (I believe) w/o messing up your settings.

@Andle try adding 50kg of ballast and get online and see how it does. (Server is setup, I think, so you can add up to 50kg ballast yourself and it'll work online) Im gonna test some of that with the Vette and see if I can dial it in for myself as well. "restrictor" may work too? Haven't seen a setting on the server for that, so not sure it'll transfer or not. Just whatever we can do to get the racing close, w/o working Bill to death, is the goal! (Im not positive on adding your own ballast either, but I saw that setting in the server/event details, so hoping that's how it works)

John, when you installed it with cm did it it completely clear the install files after the first pass?

I've had it make me make a couple or more passes to get it all done...

Checksum error on the server. Not sure if it's the track or mods update?

*edit: It's the mod update.

I think this Mod update is great. @The_Tigg can go back to the celica . @Highbank either the mustang or the new celica. And @ZiggyM in the updated Audi should level the field off better then anything we have done so far. I am staying on med tires to hopefully keep me in the same times but still have the option of softs if everyone's times really pick up. Looking forward to seeing how they shake out on the server.

I was at enough fuel for the whole race with that time. I always practice with a fuel load I will race with
