Here's my ol' paintshop, where I'll be posting previews of my upcoming fictional works before they're ready to be put up for download.

I will start my thread with the first scheme of a 1990 expansion I've started. The #34 WD-40 Ford, driven by Michael Trepton for Rich Kelly Motorsports.

Rookie Season: 1981.

My apologies, I just used what it stated on Logopedia which was 1963-present.
@PiledriverPaint no need for apologies, just do a little more research.

The WD-40 logo for the '90s and mod would be:

I'll need to check the time line on when the product changed to the newer curved style.

Updated version of Michael Trepton's scheme now with an era-accurate logo (Thank you @Lastlap) and a slightly different shade of blue.

The #44 Bounty Buick, driven by "Bounty Hunter" Paul Blame for self-owned Blame Motorsports (just came up with Bounty Hunter for his nickname because of the sponsor).

Rookie Season: 1977
Accolades: 1984 and 1989 Winston Cup Series Champion, 1x Daytona 500 winner

Credit to Povanator on Reddit who gave me the ideas for the associate sponsors (You'll see Service Merchandise as the primary for Paul's teammate), I posted there as I had a bit of what you'd call painter's block and had no ideas aside from Bounty for sponsors from this era.

I'll be making another scheme soon as well with a sponsor someone else gave me. What it is, you'll see eventually.

The #64 Service Merchandise Buick, driven by Jerry Lengley for Blame Motorsports.

Rookie Season: 1979
Accolades: 1983 Busch Grand National Series Champion, 1986 2x Daytona 500 Winner, 1x Coca-Cola 600 Winner

Credit to povanator on Reddit, again, for the sponsor idea.

Apple will be the sponsor I use for the next car.

I'm really liking this.

Retro logo, retro style base and themed with the logo cut off by the qp.

Only issue for me is the Realtree logo. Correct text but the antlers were not used then. Maybe having this big across the truck lid?

I'm happy you liked the scheme.

And thank you again for correcting me with the logo accuracy. :) Will fix later.

Finally back to the grind, been busy with other things as well as not having motivation to continue working on this set until now. But I'm back with the #40 Solo Cups Ford, driven by Scott Waywood for Rich Kelly Motorsports.
Rookie Season: 1987
Accolades: Nothing important as of 1990.

Credit to syntxerr95 on Reddit for the sponsor idea. I will be making a special Jazz design version later as well for this set as the user specifically requested that, but this is the era-accurate scheme from 1990, as the Jazz design was introduced in 1991/2.

Next, I shall start work on the Apple car. I tried to start it last month but I lost focus and forgot to save it, so I have to start over...

...Whoops.

After that, I have a couple more cars, and all the pitboxes to paint, and the set will be ready. Of course, if you want any of the cars early, either reply to this thread or DM me and I'll send it/them to you.

Sometime else, I'll try and paint/post a one off 2004/5 Busch Series fictional I dreamt up the other night on here.

Decided to make the 1992 Solo Cups car with the Jazz design as its own separate thing instead of putting it in the 1990 fictional pack. Will be posting later today for download once I can get a couple screenshots of it on track. :) Credit to NicePNG for the Jazz design I used for the base.

That makes the car. ;)

Think TV... think Spotter. Can you see the number at a distance (zoom out/back in carview)?
