Welp, latest ACC update now crashes my game. Some say it may be minimum requirements (system) have changed. Didn't think mine was that outdated but maybe it is?

I think AMS2 is more the way to go since there's more then just GT3 and GT4 cars.
Although it may be fun to do an endurance race where we make teams and have each team have 3 drivers each at a different level in ACC as a one off event. Gold drivers would be @M_Nesevitch , @Trae00 , @lightblurzz. and me. Silver would be @C5Volzfan ,@Andle , @Blitzman and @angryandgrumpy Bronze @garrett1127 , @Highbank, @The_Tigg and @wolfgang18 . 4 teams fastest paired with the slowest and Silver would be a random draw and see how it shakes out in the end. Levels subject to change just used for example

Not much into ACC, not much content and really no cars I like at all, not all the good tracks, does look nice though . There is Riverside I think, and there is Laguna which is one of my favorite(shows locked when I went to run it though, sup?), BTW we never did Laguna in anything I cold drive LOL. Was looking forward to T/A on Laguna.
Anyway, yeah AMS2 has a lot more content with more coming it seems.
One thing that gets me in newer games is like a lateral or horizontal stutter, the whole scenery is pulsing around on turns, maybe it is supposed to be the car wiggling around the corner? But it is annoying to me, makes my eyes fix on something that for a split second kind of stops moving, instead of following where I was trying to go, wonder if any way to stop that. maybe a head movement setting?
Seems like most big racing games after AC do that...

i don’t have ams 2 or acc, but i would get them if we run them
Updated windows and my gpu driver. Got ACC to load again but looks like total crap. And I mean, crap! Like it's in 640x480 or something, but it's not. Need a guide on getting the quality back I guess. Then my frames are probably gonna tank. Love it when something runs fine one day then they "update" it and it goes to junk..
At this point Andy I'd get AMS2 and all the add ons, if you can, if you can't talk to me

BTW what kind of potato are you running, I don't see anything like what you're seeing
so would that be ams2 with the 2020-2022 season pass
Okay, I've been running some of both. I'm not as fond of ACC, but it's okay. Tried several of the GT3 and GT4 cars, and they are fun, and I could learn to drive them. Really hate the track selection, though.
AMS2....I Love it! Ran several laps at Daytona (Yeah, I know guys, but really love that track) in a Camaro, and it was a blast....but then I ran in a P3...I'm in love! Easy to drive, but still a handful. I haven't tried anything else on this one, but if the other cars are as much fun as these two, I'm hooked.
Graphics on both are great, and my computer seems to run both just fine. Will be interesting to see what it be like when we learn a bit about setting them up, etc.
Does anyone know if it's possible to "not show" the wheel and driver's arms on both of them? I can't find the setting, if there is one.
Oh, and Steam did update both when I started up, so thanks for that info, @M_Nesevitch and @The_Tigg !
i have no idea, i can check in 5 hrs when I get home
as for the game, it’s a decent investment for me, but I think the experience and fun I will get from will be well worth it. and now that I have cash coming in from my new job it won’t be a bad hit. I’ll get on it when I get home from illinois
